Stroll Terms of Use
Effective date: 15 September 2026
Last updated: 15 September 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Stroll mobile applications, website, Social leaderboard, and related services (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Piyush Maheswari (“Stroll”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
Please read these Terms carefully. By downloading, accessing, or using Stroll, creating or connecting an account, or joining the Social leaderboard, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who may use Stroll
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required to consent to online services in your country, to create an account or use Social features. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms for you.
You may not use Stroll if applicable law prohibits you from receiving the Service.
2. What Stroll does
Stroll is a digital-wellness and step-tracking tool. Depending on your device and the permissions you choose to grant, Stroll may:
- read step totals from Apple Health, Health Connect, Google Fit, Fitbit, or compatible services;
- convert steps into earned screen time using settings you choose;
- measure usage of apps you select;
- show a pause or blocker screen when earned time has run out;
- provide history, streaks, reminders, widgets, and related insights;
- let you connect an account and optionally participate in Social leaderboards; and
- let you share rank cards or links through your device's share sheet.
Stroll is intended to support mindful habits. It is not a guaranteed access-control, parental-control, emergency, medical, or safety service.
3. Health and activity data
Step totals and related calculations can differ between Stroll, your wearable, your phone, Apple Health, Health Connect, Google Fit, Fitbit, or another source because those services may sync at different times, merge multiple data sources, remove duplicates, apply their own filters, or become temporarily unavailable.
Stroll may apply integrity checks, caps, duplicate detection, source preferences, or other safeguards before steps are used for screen-time calculations or rankings. We may exclude activity that appears automated, manipulated, duplicated, technically invalid, or inconsistent with ordinary human movement.
Stroll does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or professional health guidance. Do not rely on Stroll for medical decisions. Consult a qualified professional about health concerns.
4. App blocking and screen-time features
App blocking depends on operating-system permissions, background execution, device manufacturer behavior, accessibility or Screen Time frameworks, usage data, battery settings, network availability, and third-party app behavior. These systems may delay, interrupt, or prevent Stroll from updating or displaying a blocker.
You remain responsible for your device use and for any consequences of opening, blocking, or being unable to access another app. Do not use Stroll to restrict access to emergency, safety, medical, authentication, payment, work-critical, or other essential services.
Strict mode, scheduled changes, Time Bank, “open anyway”, earned-time calculations, and similar features are habit-support tools. They are not tamper-proof and do not guarantee that a restriction will always apply.
5. Permissions and third-party services
Some features require permissions or services provided by Apple, Google, Android device manufacturers, Firebase, Health Connect, Apple Health, Google Fit, Fitbit, Screen Time, Usage Access, Accessibility Services, notification services, or other third parties. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to their products.
You can refuse or revoke optional permissions, but affected features may stop working or become less accurate. Stroll is not responsible for third-party outages, changes, data delays, account restrictions, or discontinued integrations.
6. Accounts and sign-in
You may use supported sign-in providers to create or connect a Stroll account. You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in account and device secure and for activity performed through your account.
Provide accurate information and do not impersonate another person or organization. Tell us promptly at stepvibecontact@gmail.com if you believe your Stroll account has been accessed without permission.
One account may be used on more than one device, but synchronization can be delayed and duplicate or conflicting device data may be reconciled, limited, or excluded. You may not use multiple devices or accounts to manipulate rankings or evade integrity controls.
7. Social leaderboard and public profile information
Joining the Social leaderboard is optional. Before joining, Stroll shows what information will be public and asks you to accept the current Terms.
While you participate, other Stroll members may see your display name, country, profile photo or initials, eligible step totals, and ranking. Do not use a display name or image that you do not have the right to use.
Only eligible activity is ranked. Board availability, time periods, minimum-step rules, tie handling, country grouping, update frequency, and integrity filters may change to keep rankings useful and fair. Rankings are informational and are not guaranteed to be continuous, complete, perfectly accurate, or available in real time.
When you leave the leaderboard, Stroll stops publishing new ranking data and removes leaderboard data associated with your account as described in the app and Privacy Policy. Cached copies may remain briefly on other devices or in secure backups before expiring or being deleted.
8. User content licence
Your display name, profile image, reports, feedback, and other material you submit remain yours. You grant Stroll a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format, transmit, and display that material only as needed to operate, secure, moderate, and improve the Service. This licence ends when the material is deleted from active systems, except where limited retention is required for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or backups.
You confirm that you own or have permission to use anything you submit and that it does not violate another person's rights.
9. Community rules and prohibited content
You must not submit, display, encourage, or use Stroll to distribute content or behavior that:
- is illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or promotes unlawful activity;
- is sexually explicit, exploitative, or endangers children;
- threatens, harasses, bullies, humiliates, or targets another person;
- promotes hatred or discrimination based on a protected characteristic;
- contains graphic violence, threats, or encouragement of self-harm;
- impersonates someone or misrepresents identity, affiliation, country, or activity;
- reveals another person's private or sensitive information without permission;
- infringes copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other rights;
- contains spam, scams, malicious links, malware, or unauthorized advertising;
- manipulates steps, rankings, devices, requests, or Service safeguards; or
- interferes with the Service or another person's ability to use it.
These rules apply to display names, photos, shared cards, reports, profile information, and all other user-provided material.
10. Reporting, blocking, and moderation
Stroll provides controls to report and block leaderboard members. Use reports honestly and only for suspected violations.
We may review reports and automated signals and may edit, hide, remove, reject, limit, or preserve content; exclude steps; reset rankings; restrict features; suspend accounts; or terminate access where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect people, investigate abuse, comply with law, or maintain Service integrity.
We may retain limited evidence of reports or enforcement actions where necessary for safety, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal compliance. We do not promise to resolve every report in a particular way, but we aim to review credible safety concerns promptly.
For urgent safety concerns or illegal conduct, contact local emergency services or law enforcement. Stroll is not an emergency reporting service.
11. Acceptable technical use
You must not:
- access the Service through unauthorized automated means;
- probe, scan, reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or bypass security controls except where applicable law expressly permits;
- extract, scrape, sell, or build databases from leaderboard or member information;
- forge requests, tokens, device signals, step records, dates, locations, or account details;
- exploit bugs to gain rank, screen time, access, or an unfair advantage; or
- help another person do any of the above.
12. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, text, graphics, and non-user content, is owned by or licensed to Stroll and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of Stroll or its content to you.
“Stroll” and associated branding may not be used without prior written permission, except as allowed by law.
13. Feedback
If you send ideas, suggestions, or feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or payment. This does not transfer ownership of personal information included in your feedback, which remains subject to the Privacy Policy.
14. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information Stroll accesses, collects, uses, stores, shares, and deletes, including Google account data, health and step data, app-usage information, diagnostics, notifications, and leaderboard information. The Privacy Policy is separate from these Terms.
15. Account and data deletion
You can initiate account deletion from Stroll's profile or settings flow. Account deletion removes your Stroll account and associated server-side data, including leaderboard profile and ranking data, unless retention is required by law or reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, safety, security, or dispute resolution.
Data stored only on your device may remain until you clear the app's data or uninstall it. Deleting Stroll does not automatically delete data held by Apple, Google, Fitbit, your device, or another third party.
Leaving the leaderboard is different from deleting your account: it removes you from Social boards while allowing you to keep using other Stroll features.
16. Service changes and availability
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features; adjust eligibility or ranking rules; introduce limits; or update supported devices and integrations. We may perform maintenance without notice where necessary. We will try to give reasonable notice when a change materially affects your rights or use of the Service.
The Service may be unavailable or contain errors. You should keep independent records of information you need and should not rely on Stroll as your sole source of health, activity, usage, or account data.
17. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Stroll at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially or repeatedly violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, manipulate the Service, harm others, or where required by law.
Where appropriate, we may notify you and offer a way to contact us about an enforcement decision. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, disputes, and lawful retention, will continue to apply.
18. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that Stroll will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device, or that step, usage, earned-time, ranking, or notification information will always be accurate or current.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
19. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stroll and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss; loss of data, opportunity, goodwill, or profits; third-party conduct; or harm arising from reliance on step, health, usage, blocker, notification, or ranking information.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid directly to Stroll for the Service during the 12 months before the claim or the minimum amount required by applicable law.
This section does not limit liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
20. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate Stroll for reasonable losses, claims, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or material you submit that infringes another person's rights. This does not apply where the loss was caused by Stroll's own unlawful conduct.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, law, safety practices, or business operations. We will update the date at the top and, where required or appropriate, provide notice in the app or ask you to accept the updated Terms before continuing to use account or Social features.
If you do not agree to revised Terms, you must stop using the affected features and may delete your account.
22. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any consumer rights or mandatory jurisdiction that applies where you live, courts with jurisdiction over the operator's principal place of business in India will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms or the Service.
Before filing a formal claim, please contact stepvibecontact@gmail.com and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief or using a consumer forum or other remedy available under applicable law.
23. General terms
If part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts remain effective. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer these Terms as part of a merger, reorganization, financing, sale, or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable law.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any feature-specific terms shown in the Service, form the agreement between you and Stroll regarding the Service.
